During the college academic year, students of the university are in a cutthroat and complicated process of finding valuable opportunities that prepare them for the real world and further imbed them in their education in pursuit of a career. The application of students in class education in a professional setting produces a more experienced workforce by enriching students with these new experiences. This college experience is important but comes with layers of preparation to be successful
Students must first identify internships within their field of study to maximize their time and learning within their time with the company. Secondly, in recent times, the online marketing of internships and postings to get more names in the hat makes it harder for students to receive this experience. Along with AI resume review steps, this creates the layers and need for these candidates to perfect their resume and opportunity for interviews.
Students have been able to stray away from the online world by simply networking. Being a part of a community such as a college attracts like-minded people and all areas of work that can be potential interests for students to pursue. The ability to network not only for internships but for the overall credibility and interests in the business world. Finding a summer internship as a college student is undoubtedly a challenging but rewarding endeavor. By utilizing online resources, building a standout resume, networking, and demonstrating resilience, students can increase their chances of securing a  valuable internship experience.
