Week 1: Surfing The Tsunami

After reading Surfing The Tsunami by Todd Kelsey it is clear to see the importance of artificial intelligence and its continuously growing adaptations to the current models. AI has atomized many processes within industries which brings up Kelsey's emphasis on the negative and positive effects AI has on occupations in different fields.

Some of these technologies are used to simplify tasks to make it easy for people to do redundant tasks. Softwears have been created to achieve these actions and have been developed over time> Kelsey goes into the very inner working of AI and the softwhere functions.

The overarching idea Kelsey tries to instill into his readers is the importance of research and understanding of AI and its functions to stay ahead of it. This can cause for a more cohesive relationship with technology that is so advanced and constantly changing.

AI and job automation

AI and job Automation This week I have decided to write a blog post on artificial intelligence and the theory of AI taking ahold of the work force through automation. In the era of rapid technological advancement, artificial intelligence (AI) stands as a transformative force reshaping industries and workforces alike. One of its most discussed impacts is job automation, prompting both excitement and concern. Let's take a concise look at this phenomenon and its implications. AI, comprising machine learning, robotics, and natural language processing, has the capability to automate tasks traditionally performed by humans. This raises questions about its effect on employment dynamics. While some fear widespread job displacement, others foresee new job opportunities and increased productivity. Psychologically, automation brings concerns such as job insecurity and skill obsolescence. However, studies suggest that with resilience and lifelong learning, individuals can adapt to the changing...
